Platts starts defined monthly natural gas trading hours during bidweek and later publication time for preliminary monthly prices

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has implemented defined trading hours for natural gas during the three-day bidweek period and now publishes the preliminary monthly prices one hour later.

The trading period is from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm CT on each of the three bidweek days.

Platts publishes the preliminary monthly prices on each bidweek day approximately one hour later to include all trades up to 4:00 pm CT.

These changes went into effect on Jan. 26, 2026, the first day of February bidweek.
