Platts corrects Transco, zone 5 North delivered (IGCGL00) for trade date Jan. 23 and flow dates Jan. 24-26

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has corrected the published natural gas index price for Transco, zone 5 North delivered (IGCGL00) for trade date Jan. 23 and flow dates Jan. 24-26.

The originally published index price of $80/million British thermal units was based on one trade in a highly volatile market. Platts has determined that the $80/MMBtu trade was not reflective of trading activity during the 6 am to 1 pm CT trading period.

Due to a lack of trades and inconsistent bid-offer activity, Platts will not publish a price for Transco, zone 5 North delivered for trade date Jan. 23 and flow dates Jan. 24-26.
