Platts to launch Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S Index

Following market feedback, S&P Global Platts will launch a Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S Index to complement its existing bunker indices including the Bunkerworld 380 Index, from February 11.

The Bunkerworld Marine Fuel 0.5%S Index will provide a global representation for the IMO 2020-compliant grade through a simple average of the daily prices at 17 high-volume ports.

The index will be published through the Bunkerworld website.
