Platts discontinues Platts FOLicht UCOME +5 FOB ARA assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has discontinued the Platts FOLicht UCOME +5 FOB ARA (AFOLA04) price assessment effective Jan. 21, 2026.

Platts has discontinued the weekly Eur/mt spot price assessment for UCOME +5 CFPP FOB basis Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA). The daily Platts UCOME FOB ARA outright price assessment (AUMEB00) has not been discontinued and will continue to provide a comprehensive view of the UCOME market.

The discontinuation was first proposed on Oct. 15, 2025, in a subscriber note available here, and was confirmed Nov. 12, 2025.

The assessment was published in the Biomass-Based Diesel Report, Platts Biofuels Alert and in the World Biodiesel Price report.
