Platts to change Americas rice assessments timestamp Feb. 2

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will change the timestamp of its daily US and South American rice assessments, effective Feb. 2, 2026.

The assessments will move from a 4:30 pm London timestamp to a 5:30 pm Sao Paulo timestamp on Feb. 2 and will also follow the Sao Paulo publishing calendar, rather than the London publishing calendar.

The change will align S&P Global Energy assessments with local trading hours in the Americas.
