Please note that Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, has set publishing dates and/or cycles for 2026 US gasoline RVP shifts.
The Platts 2026 RVP calendar is available to download here.
Please scroll down to find the calendar. No login is required. In addition, the same file is available on CSV, JSON, and RDF formats on the website: https://dunl.org/c.
The 2026 calendar largely follows 2025 norms, with the only notable change being a possible Environmental Protection Agency-mandated change for Chicago CBOB and Chicago premium 91 gasoline. The calendar will be updated throughout the year as more information becomes available.
The shift dates are based on relevant pipeline schedules, historical information, and feedback from market participants.
Gulf Coast shifts are based on the Colonial Pipeline schedule. Atlantic Coast shifts are based on Buckeye Pipeline and Colonial Pipeline calendars. Group 3 shifts are based on the Magellan Pipeline schedule, while Chicago shifts are based on Explorer Pipeline and Buckeye Complex. Los Angeles, San Francisco and Arizona RVP changes are based on Kinder Morgan's SFPP schedule, while Portland and Seattle shifts are based on Olympic Pipeline's calendar.
The US Environmental Protection Agency announced in April 2024 that eight Midwestern states will remove their current 1 psi waiver. The waiver removal will lower the RVP limit for conventional gasoline in eight states to 9 psi during the summer months, compared with the current 10 psi after blending with up to 10% ethanol. More information on how the Platts Midwest gasoline assessments will be impacted by the waiver removal can be found here. The calendar will be updated as more information for the new low RVP product becomes available in accordance with updates from ONEOK and Buckeye complex.
