Platts corrects NYMEX December platinum monthly average

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is correcting the monthly average for the published US NYMEX Platinum 01-Mo price (symbol XMAAB10) for December.

A technical error failed to capture the active month for Dec. 23-29 correctly. The values from Dec. 23-29 have been amended in the Platts database, resulting in a recalculation of the monthly average.

The correct monthly average for December is $1904.909/oz.

These prices appeared in Platts Metals Daily and in the Platts price database. Corrected values have been republished.
