Platts to update Mexico natural gas transportation rates

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will release its quarterly update on the natural gas transportation rates used to calculate daily natural gas prices in Mexico.

Platts will use the current pipeline tariff rates for transportation routes, the January 2026 bidweek prices for the Tennessee, Zone 0, Waha, and SoCal Gas source locations, and the Jan. 5, 2026, spot exchange rate of the Mexican Peso to the US Dollar. This update will also incorporate the 2026 SISTRANGAS tariff rates. The symbols below represent the full transport cost for each location in Mexico, which is used to calculate the daily fully loaded price.
