Platts to launch UCOME FOB ARA $/mt assessment, Feb 2

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will launch a UCOME FOB Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp outright price assessment in $/metric ton, effective Feb. 2, 2026.

Platts will launch this assessment to better reflect the unit of measurement and currency used in the market.

The existing UCOME FOB ARA outright assessment (AUMEB00) is published in Euro/mt and from Feb. 2, will be converted from the $/ mt UCOME FOB ARA assessment.

Platts will continue to accept price indications in both Euros and US dollars.

The new assessment specifications will reflect the current UCOME FOB ARA Platts methodology , found here.
