Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will launch a new daily polypropylene (PP) raffia grade FOB China assessment, effective Feb. 2, 2026, in view of additional capacities and growing export volumes from China.
Details of the proposed assessment are as follows:

| Delivery Period | 7-21 days |
| Basis Location | East China major ports, including but not limited to Shanghai and Ningbo |
| Cargo size | 100-500 mt |
| Credit terms | LC 30 days |
| Quality specifications | Raffia around MFR 2.5-4 |
The proposed assessment will be published daily and be based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time (0830 GMT). It will be published in $/mt and follow the Singapore publishing schedule.
