LNG
January 05, 2026
Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, is proposing to change the publishing schedule of the Platts NWE (LNGDA01) and JKM London close derivative assessments (JKLMO00), effective Feb. 16, 2026.
Under this proposal, Platts would only publish the Platts NWE and JKM London close pricing month derivative assessments from the first to the sixth last day that Platts assesses physical deliveries in the pricing month.
For example, Platts would publish NWE and JKM derivative assessment for pricing month April, from Feb. 16, 2026, to March 6, 2026. This is against the current assessment period, which will run from Feb. 16, 2026, to March 13, 2026.
This proposal is based on lower trading activity observed of the pricing month derivative contract during the last five assessment days.
This change would align the last publishing day of the NWE and JKM London close pricing month derivative assessment with that of the JKM Singapore Close pricing month, as well as JKM and NWE balance-month next-day derivative assessments.
Consequently, in the last five assessment days of physical deliveries in the pricing month, Platts would not publish any floating physical bids or offers linked to the pricing month during the Atlantic physical LNG Market on Close assessment process.
