SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to clarify NWE gasoline barge basis labeling

Platts would like to remind readers that it will clarify the basis labeling of its Northwest Europe gasoline barge assessments in its market price assessment database with effect from January 2, 2015.

The three assessments are the Gasoline Eurobob FOB ARA Barge assessment, the Gasoline Prem Unleaded 10 ppm FOB Rdam Barge assessment and the Gasoline Reg Unleaded 98 FOB ARA Barges. With effect January 2 2015 Platts would rename the three assessments "FOB AR" to reflect the basis assessed.

These assessments, which reflect barges typically loading basis Amsterdam/Rotterdam (AR), will continue to be assessed as they are currently. The way they are presented in European Marketscan and on Platts Global Alert will also not be changed.

The three daily dollar per metric ton assessments are currently published in the Platts price assessment database under codes AAQZV00 (Gasoline Eurobob FOB ARA Barge), PGABM00 (Gasoline Prem Unleaded 10ppmS FOB Rdam Barge), and AAXPM00 (Gasoline Reg Unleaded 98 FOB ARA Barges).
