Platts to amend Fertilizers heards format, replacing FERTECON with the Platts prefix, effective Sept. 7

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will amend the format of how fertilizer heards are published, writing all future "Fertecon" heards as "Platts," in line with the transition from the Fertecon brand into S&P Global Energy.

Thechange will take effect on Sept. 7. An example of the change can be seen below:

Before Sept. 7:

FERTECON GRANULAR UREA: Trade at $XXX/st FOB NOLA, Volume: YYY st, Shipment: Sep, Source: Trader

After Sept. 7:

PLATTSGRANULAR UREA: Trade at $XXX/st FOB NOLA, Volume: YYY st, Shipment: Sep, Source: Trader
