Platts will discontinue the Brazilian Decarbonization Credits CBIO Rationale and Commentary

Platts, part of S&P Global Energy, will discontinue the publication of the rationale and market commentary for the Brazilian Decarbonization Credits, or CBIO, assessment, effective Sept. 18, 2026.

The CBIO price assessment will continue to be published. Relevant CBIO pricing and market information will remain available in the daily Biofuelscan, and the weekly Ethanol Weekly, Biomass-Based Diesel Report, and Brazil Fuels Weekly.

This change will streamline publication of supporting commentary while maintaining the availability of the CBIO price assessment and relevant market information.
