Noree Construction to use clinker-free cement in projects

Partnership targets agricultural, aquatic infrastructure

Hoffmann Green accelerates regional deployment strategy

French low-carbon cement producer Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies has signed a partnership with Noree Construction, a major construction company in western France specializing in agricultural civil engineering and outdoor aquatic facilities, as the cement maker seeks to expand its commercial footprint through regional partnerships.

The agreement will see Noree Construction integrate Hoffmann Green's clinker-free cement into various projects across Brittany, including agricultural buildings currently under construction, the companies said May 20. The partnership reflects Noree Construction's push to reduce the environmental footprint of its operations while maintaining technical performance standards across its diverse project portfolio, spanning agricultural facilities, industrial buildings, wastewater treatment plants, and outdoor swimming facilities.

"Hoffmann Green offers an innovative and immediately applicable technology today that fully meets the environmental challenges of our sector," Cyril Soyer, chief executive of Noree Construction, said. "This collaboration reflects our desire to integrate more sustainable solutions while maintaining the level of technical requirements expected by our customers."

Hoffmann Green, which produces cement with zero clinker content and claims a carbon footprint five times lower than traditional cement, is accelerating its commercial deployment by partnering with established regional construction firms that have a strong local presence. The partnership with Noree Construction strengthens Hoffmann Green's positioning in highly technical markets, where low carbon emissions provide a structural competitive advantage, the company said.

"The signing of this partnership with Noree Construction supports the deployment of our commercial strategy with leading regional players," Julien Blanchard and David Hoffmann, co-founders of Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, said. "This collaboration illustrates the relevance of our zero clinker solutions to concretely support the environmental transformation of the construction sector in diversified sectors, without compromising on performance or quality of execution."
