Pakistan's cement sales rose 12.5% year over year to 4.199 million metric tons in February, driven by robust export demand and improving domestic offtake, the latest data from the All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association showed.

The country's domestic cement sales increased 8.3% year over year to 3.467 million mt in February, while cement exports jumped 37.7% to 732,333 mt over the same period, the data showed.

In the first eight months of fiscal year 2025-26 (July-June), Pakistan's total cement sales rose 10.9% year over year to 34.80 million mt, according to the data. Domestic sales increased 11.9% to 28.50 million mt, while exports grew 6.3% to 6.30 million mt over the same period.

Several market participants across Asia said Pakistan's continued export strength reflects competitive pricing and steady overseas demand, while domestic consumption was gradually recovering compared with earlier months.
