China has published its first ever national hydrogen strategy cutting across sectors and its state-backed think tank expects hydrogen to contribute to 20% of final energy consumption by 2060. Its plan is focused on boosting supply of renewables-based hydrogen, and making it an economically viable option in the nation's energy transition.
