FUJAIRAH DATA: Oil product stocks fall 20% after record gain

Oil product inventories at Fujairah in the UAE fell 20% in the week ended Sept. 28, following a record 59% gain in the previous week, according to Fujairah Oil Industry Zone data published Sept. 30.
Total inventory fell to 8.216 million barrels from a five-month high reached a week earlier, according to the data.
Stocks of heavy distillates, used as ship fuel and for power generation, dropped 30% to 3.910 million barrels in the week ended Sept. 28, after almost doubling in the week ended Sept. 21, the data showed.
Inventories of middle distillates, such as jet fuel and diesel, increased 3.3% to 2.690 million barrels, the highest since Feb. 23, according to the data.
Light distillate stocks, such as gasoline and naphtha, declined 23% to 1.616 million barrels, a two-week low, the data showed.
Platts-assessed marine fuel 0.5% sulfur delivered Fujairah fell 2.1% day over day Sept. 29 to $950/metric ton, extending its decline from Sept. 16, when the price was $1,030/mt. Platts is part of S&P Global Energy.
Platts-assessed bunker fuel oil 380 CST delivered Fujairah dropped 4.3% day over dayto $665/mt on Sept. 29.
