Refinery news roundup: USGC FCCU snags support gasoline prices

New York — US Gulf Coast gasoline prices were supported by a spate of work on key refinery units, including those at ExxonMobil's Baton Rouge, Louisiana, plant, LyondellBasell's Houston plant, Shell's Convent, Louisiana, plant, and Citgo's Corpus Christi plant.

Seasonal RVP spec change on Colonial Pipeline shipments and unplanned FCCU work at Phillips 66's Bayway refinery in New Jersey also supported higher gasoline prices, with pipeline barrels of 87 unleaded holding a 9.25-cents/gal discount to NYMEX front-month RBOB on Thursday compared with the 15.75 cents/gal discount seen Wednesday, Platts assessments showed.
