Platts to discontinue three European fertilizer freight assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has decided to discontinue three Fertecon European freight assessments, effective Feb. 22, 2024.

Platts has decided to discontinue these freight assessments due to changing market dynamics.

The affected assessments appear in the biweekly European Fertilizer Report. They do not appear in the Platts PricePoint database or in the Connect Data Browser.

The following freight assessments will be discontinued:

• Morocco NW Europe 8-10,000 mt
• Baltic UK 3-4,000 mt
• Morocco Spain/Italy 3-6,000 mt
