Platts suspends publication of its Indian Sharbati rice assessment

Due to the Indian government's indefinite ban on non-Basmati white rice exports, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will not publish the following assessment from Sept. 1 until further notice:

As a result, the related monthly average published under the symbol LRCES03 will be affected. Platts will continue to review the situation as it develops and publish bids, offers, trades and indicative market values for this assessment.
