Platts proposes to increase maximum volume for Brazil biodiesel from May 2

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the volume specification for its Brazilian biodiesel daily price assessment, effective May 2, 2024.

Platts proposes to increase the maximum volume of biodiesel reflected in its Brazil DAP Paulínia assessment to 500 cu m from 250 cu m currently. The minimum volume would remain at 100 cu m. Any indications for biodiesel outside this range may be included in the assessment process, but would be normalized to reflect the assessed range.

This proposed update reflects the increasing volumes typically traded in the local spot market.

The assessment impacted is the Brazilian Biodiesel DAP Paulínia (ABPLA00).
