SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to discontinue Iran Light, Heavy FOB Sidi assessments

In line with changing practices in the Iranian crude oil market, S&P Global Platts will discontinue its daily spot market assessments of Iranian Light and Iranian Heavy crude loading FOB Sidi Kerir effective January 2, 2019.

These assessments are published on Platts Global Alert page 1234 and are available under the below codes:

The discontinuation follows on from the National Iranian Oil Company's decision to cease publication of official selling prices for its crude oil loading FOB Sidi Kerir as of January 1, 2019.

Platts understands that the discontinuation of OSPs is due to Iran no longer supplying crude oil on a FOB Sidi Kerir basis.

Platts is also ceasing the republication of Official Selling Prices (OSPs) for Iranian crude loading FOB from Sidi Kerir immediately.
