Platts to discontinue publishing Platts-Viridios CARBEX Carbon Credit Indices

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue publishing the Platts-Viridios CARBEX Carbon Credit Indices, effective Dec. 16.

This follows the discontinuation of the operation of Viridios AI Pty Ltd's platform and termination of access to all software programs, static data and the provision of other services, as of Dec. 16.

The CARBEX indexes use Viridios AI software, trained using Platts commodity data, S&P Global indexes, and combined with Viridios's database of carbon credit transaction data.

As such, the last publication day for the CARBEX carbon credit indices will be Friday, Dec.13.
