Platts to update price format for Middle East monthly sulfur prices, effective Nov 13

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will update the price format for its existing Middle Eastern monthly sulfur prices, effective Nov. 13, 2025.

Platts will now publish the monthly announced sulfur prices from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company, Kuwait Petroleum Corp., and QatarEnergy in PDF publications as a single number "close" value, instead of the current high and low range format, based on current market practice as adapted over time.

The affected assessments are as follows:

Platts will continue to assess the low and high range for the above symbols along with the the new "close" value, but the weekly sulfur report will only reflect the single number "close" value.

All other specifications and methodology related to these assessments remain unchanged.
