Platts proposes discontinuation of weekly Tia Juana Light feeder crude value

S&P Global Platts proposes to discontinue publishing the Tia Juana Light feeder crude value due to declining production and a lack of spot market activity.

Platts understands that Tijuana Light was historically produced by Venezuela, but recent production has shifted to heavier crudes. The country now produces little, if any, Tijuana Light.

The proposed discontinuation will affect the following codes:

Tia Juana Light PCAEH00

TJ Light MAvg PCAEH03
