Please note that in accordance with the upcoming change to the Dated Brent assessment methodology, Platts will begin publishing new, daily freight adjustment factors (FAFs) beginning October 1, 2019.
The methodology change was announced February 25, 2019 in a subscriber note available here: https://www.spglobal.com/platts/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/022519-platts-to-reflect-cif-rotterdam-offers-in-dated-brent-from-november-2019-loadings
Platts will begin publishing 10 new $/b calculations for use in the CIF Rotterdam component in the Dated Brent assessment. These calculations will be published at 11 am London time on the day of the assessement on Platts Global Alert page 1218. in the Crude Oil Marketwire and in the Platts pricing database under the following codes.
