SUBSCRIBER NOTE: Platts to publish daily FAF calculations from Oct 1

Please note that in accordance with the upcoming change to the Dated Brent assessment methodology, Platts will begin publishing new, daily freight adjustment factors (FAFs) beginning October 1, 2019.

Platts will begin publishing 10 new $/b calculations for use in the CIF Rotterdam component in the Dated Brent assessment. These assessments will be calculated using the cross-UKC 10-rolling average Aframax assessment published in Dirty Tankerwire under code TDUUW00 and the monthly freight adjustment factor percentage.

Please note that Platts is introducing both an M1 calculation and an M2 calculation as the FAF percentage changes over the first three months.

These calculations will be published at 11 am London time on the day of the assessement on Platts Global Alert page 1218. in the Crude Oil Marketwire and in the Platts pricing database under the following codes.
