Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue three of its voluntary carbon market price assessments, effective Dec. 1, 2025.
This follows a proposal note published on Aug. 28.
Platts will discontinue Platts CNC, as well as its Household Devices Energy Efficiency Project Differential, and the Renewable Energy Latin America Differential, owing to changing dynamics in the voluntary carbon market:
The assessments to be discontinued are as follows:

The assessments appear in CMA2001, ETA2001, CMA2002, ETA2002, CMA2003, ETA2003, CMA2004, ETA2004, CMA2005, ETA2005, CMA2006, ETA2006, CMA2007, ETA2007, CMA2008, ETA2008, CMA2009, ETA2009, CMA2011, ETA2011, and in Carbon Markets Daily.
