Platts proposes to update location bases of China trucked LNG assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the location bases reflected in its China trucked LNG assessments, effective Oct. 29, 2025.

Platts proposes to change the basis and location for China trucked LNG assessments from the Tianjin floating storage and regasification unit to the PipeChina Tianjin terminal in North China, from Ningbo terminal to Yancheng Binhai terminal in East China, and from Beihai terminal to Zhuhai Jinwan terminal in South China. Platts understands that a significant portion of trucked LNG trading activity takes place in the above-mentioned locations, based on feedback received.

The proposed changes would affect the following price assessments and symbols:
