Platts seeks feedback on Waha natural gas index methodology

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is reviewing the natural gas index methodology for the Waha daily (IGBAD00) and monthly (IGBAD03) location and invites market feedback on potential changes.

Specifically, Platts is seeking feedback on whether transactions on the ONEOK WesTex Transmission pipeline system should remain in the Waha price index.

Additionally, Platts seeks feedback on whether transactions done at the Agua Blanca Pool should be added to the Waha price index.

Lastly, Platts welcomes feedback on whether trades on the Matterhorn Express Pipeline project should be added to the Waha price index at some future date.

Please send any comments or feedback to AmericasGasPricing@spglobal.com and pricegroup@spglobal.com by Sept. 11, 2024.
