Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to launch weekly carbon black spot assessments for Northwest Europe, effective Oct. 4, 2024.
Details of the proposed assessments are as follows:

Pricing information for material with other specifications and terms may be normalized accordingly.
The proposed assessments would reflect spot values on a daily basis at 16:30 London time and would follow the London publishing calendar. A weekly commentary and rationale would be published on a Friday and would appear in Olefinscan and on Platts Connect.
