Platts clarifies Mercosur polyolefins assessments' incoterms

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to clarify that its Mercosur polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) assessments reflect deliveries on a cost and freight (CFR) basis.

Platts may take into account relevant information reflecting other incoterms, including, but not limited to, CPT and CIF, subject to normalization.

These assessments are published every Wednesday, and in accordance with the Brazil holiday publishing schedule, in Polymerscan (PO) and Latin American Polymerscan (POLA), as well as on Platts Connect and in the Platts Price Point database under the following codes:
