Platts to launch weekly recycled HDPE blow molding ex-works India assessment Aug 20

Following industry feedback, Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will launch a weekly ex-works India spot price assessment for recycled high density polyethylene (rHDPE) blow molding non-food grade pellets, effective Aug. 20, 2025.

Platts has observed a growing interest in the adoption of r HDPE blow molding, as well as greater demand for pricing transparency in the region.

The assessment will be based on the latest information sourced from the market up to the close of the assessment process at 4:30 pm Singapore time on Wednesdays and will follow the Indian publishing schedule.

The assessment will be expressed in Indian Rupees/kg and also converted into $/mt, using USD/INR forex. The assessment will reflect the product with the following parameters :
