Platts proposes change to daily Far East ammonia assessment timestamp Sep 2

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, is proposing to change the timestamp for its daily CFR Far East ammonia assessment, effective Sept. 2, 2024.

The daily CFR Far East ammonia timestamp would move from its current 16:30 London, UK timestamp to a 16:30 Penang, Malaysia timestamp. This is currently equivalent to 16:30 Singapore and 17:30 in Tokyo. The assessment will also follow the Penang publishing calendar.

The proposal is designed to align the daily assessment more closely with local trading hours in Asia.
