Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to launch weekly price assessment for Cement CIF Houston, effective Sept. 4, 2025.

The proposal aims to enhance Platts' coverage of cement in the Americas region.

The US is the leading importer of cement globally, with Houston, Texas, being the primary destination for most imports.
