Platts to discontinue Bio-Bunkers B30 Rotterdam FAME 0 price, Oct 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue its Bio-bunkers B30 Rotterdam FAME 0 calculated price from Oct. 1, 2025.

This follows a subscriber note published June 19 detailing the proposed changes, available here: Platts proposes to discontinue Bio-Bunkers B30 FAME 0 Rotterdam calculated price from Oct. 1 | S&P Global .

The proposed discontinuation of the calculated price reflects the industry's growing need for market-based price assessments of bio-bunkers as well as the move away from typical crop-based feedstock as per FuelEU Maritime legislation.

The assessment is published in the Bunkerwire Report, Biofuelscan Report and Biomass-Based Diesel Report, Platts Biofuel Alert pages 2500 and 2502, and in the Platts price database under the codes above.
