Platts proposes to discontinue several US Renewable Energy Certificates assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to discontinue several US Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) price assessments, effective Oct. 13.

Platts is proposing to discontinue these assessments to simplify Platts' portfolio of REC assessments. The Platts RECs assessments for front-half or back-half of a calendar year; RECs for Any Technologies; CRS-listed; or Green-e certified/eligible, where appropriate, will not be impacted by the change.

The full list of RECs assessments that Platts proposes to discontinue is in the appendix here.

The assessments proposed for discontinuation currently appear in the fixed pages CLE3200, CLE320 2, PEA0750, PEA0751, EVA3005, EVA3007, AGP2750 and AGP2751, as well as REC Daily and Megawatt Daily.
