Platts to discontinue standard grade AS Black Sea FOB caprolactam assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue the publication of its AS Black Sea FOB caprolactam (Russian) ($/mt) price assessment, effective Sept. 5, 2024.

The decision reflects an absence of exports of standard grade AS of Russian origin via the Black Sea, and is aligned with market feedback sought following the publication of a subscriber note on June 20, available here: https://www.spglobal.com/commodityinsights/en/our-methodology/subscriber-notes/062024-platts-proposes-to-discontinue-standard-grade-as-black-sea-fob-caprolactam-price-assessment
