Platts discontinues publication of weekly US domestic PE, PP contract prices

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, has discontinued the publication of the weekly US polyethylene and polypropylene delivered contract prices, effective July 3, considering market fragmentation and a lack of contract market transparency and consistency.

Platts will continue to provide insight into the domestic PE and PP markets as part of its export PE and PP coverage.
