Platts to discontinue US PE, PP domestic contract price assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue the weekly price assessments for US domestic contract polyethylene and polypropylene effective July 1, 2024, considering market fragmentation and a lack of contract market transparency and consistency.
