Platts proposes to update specifications of eight Americas DAP price assessments
Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the specifications of eight Americas diammonium phosphate price assessments, effective Aug. 7, 2025.
The proposed amendments would refine and evolve specifications such as quality, quantity, and timing for the assessments to better reflect the phosphate market activity dynamics in the Americas region.
The weekly phosphate price assessments would now be assessed as a single "close" value with the low and high range standardized at a $1/mt interval either side of the assessed close value.
The affected assessments would be as follows:
- DAP FOB NOLA US Domestic $/st Wkly (FDPUA04)
- DAP FCA Central Florida $/st Wkly (FDPFA04)
- DAP FOB Twin Cities Minnesota $/st Wkly (FDAPB04)
- DAP FOB Cincinnati OH $/st Wkly (FDPCB04)
- DAP FOB Quad Cities/East Dubuque $/st Wkly (FDAPD04)
- DAP FOB Ottawa/Pekin IL $/st Wkly (FDAPA04)
- DAP FOB St. Louis MO $/st Wkly (FDAPE04)
- DAP FOB Tulsa OK $/st Wkly (FDPTB04)
