Platts proposes to observe India and Singapore publishing schedules for toluene CFR India outright assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to publish the outright CFR India toluene assessment in line with the Singapore and India publishing schedules, effective July23, 2024.

Under the change, the CFR India outright assessment, which is derived off an additional premium to the FOB Korea toluene marker, would not be published when there is a holiday either in Singapore or India, as outlined here.

Platts would still assess the toluene differential between CFR India and FOB Korea according to the India publishing schedule, as announced in this proposal.

The publication of both assessments currently follows the Singapore holiday publishing schedule.

The timestamp of the assessment would remain unchanged at 4:30 pm SGT or 2 pm IST.

The assessment appears in the Asia Petrochemicalscan and Petrochemical Alert (PCA) pages 218, 326, 235, 413, 542 and 900.
