Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to publish its India/South Asia chemical assessments in line with the India publishing schedule, beginning July 1, 2024.
These assessments currently follow the Singapore holiday publishing schedule.
Under the proposal, daily India/South Asia chemical assessments would not be published during the India public holidays.
Weekly assessments falling on Indian public holidays would be published one day in advance.
For example, for 2024, weekly assessments for Aug. 15, Oct. 2, Oct. 31 and Nov. 15 would be published one day in advance on Aug. 14, Oct.1, Oct. 29 and Nov. 14, respectively.
A full list of the publishing schedule for 2024 would be as below:

These assessments appear in Polymerscan, Solventswire, and Asia Petrochemical scan.
The assessments' timestamp would remain unchanged at 4:30 pm SGT or 2 pm IST.
As part of this change, Platts would start publishing standalone commentaries and rationales for its India/South Asia price assessments to bring deeper insights into these markets.
