Natural Gas, LNG

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, would like to clarify the gas indices falling under Plaquemines in its North American LNG feedgas cost model and push back the effective date of publishing feedgas cost of Plaquemines from June 2 to July 14.
As a result of the above new date, Plaquemines will also be incorporated into the daily computation of the Average US LNG Feedgas Cost (ALNFG00) and Average USGC LNG Feedgas Cost (ALNFH00) from Oct. 1.
Further to the decision(opens in a new tab) to add Plaquemines to the model, Platts would like to clarify that proportional flow data and transport costs from Commodity Insights will be used to create a volume-weighted average using the following Platts Gas Indices for Plaquemines: Texas Eastern, ELA (IGBBS00), Tennessee, Louisiana, 500 leg (IGBBP00), and Colombia Gulf, La. (IGBBG00).
Platts first proposed the addition March 27, in a subscriber note here(opens in a new tab).
