Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to refine the specifications of its Granular Urea FOB Caribbean $/mt Wkly (FGUCA04) price assessment, effective July 3, 2025.

First, Platts proposes to amend the quantity specifications from a "minimum 6,000 mt" to a range of "4,000-20,000 mt".

Additionally, Platts would narrow the basis location, revising the previous designation from "Venezuela, Trinidad. Loading out of Jose, Point Lisas" to "Point Lisas, Trinidad and Tobago".

Platts would also amend the timing specification from "product to be shipped up to 30 days forward" to "loading 7 to 45 days forward".
