Platts to modify format of monthly Canadian Gas Price Reporter publication

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will make certain changes to the format of the monthly Canadian Gas Price Reporter report, effective with the July 2 publication. This update follows a subscriber note published March 18 proposing to remove Page 2 of the CGPR publication and seeking feedback on potential modifications to Page 3 of the report.

Updates to the publication will be as follows:

Page 2 of the current CGPR report, which contains an overview of Canadian gas market fundamentals, will be removed. A more detailed overview of Canadian natural gas fundamentals can be found in the Canada section of the North American Natural Gas Short-Term Outlook report.

Page 3 of the current CGPR report, which contains preliminary monthly fixed-price and basis prices at various US pricing locations, will remain unchanged.

The CGPR report will be recategorized on Platts Connect to the "Market Report" report type, from the "Analytics Research" report type.

Columns will be added to each table in the report showing the symbol for each value.
