Platts proposes to add 'close' value for Americas ammonium nitrate price assessment

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, proposes to update the methodology for its Americas ammonium nitrate (AN) price assessment, effective July 1.

Platts proposes to introduce an additional weekly "close" value in addition to the existing low and high values. Following the proposed change, the current low and high values would be standardized to $1/st above and below the assessed close value.

This assessment is currently published in the Fertecon US Fertilizer Report and is also available on Platts Connect.
