Platts to change publishing schedule for Platts JKM derivatives assessment for the pricing month

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will change the publishing schedule of the Platts JKM derivative assessment for the pricing month (symbol: LJKMO00), effective June 16, 2025.

As a result of this change, Platts JKM derivative assessment for the pricing month will be published from the first assessment day of a delivery month to the sixth last assessment day of the same delivery month.

For example, Platts will publish the JKM derivative assessment for pricing month August, from June 16, 2025, to July 8, 2025. This is against the current assessment period, which would run from June 16, 2025, to July 15, 2025.

This change is based on market feedback and lower trading activity observed of the pricing month derivative contract during the last five assessment days.

This change will align the last publishing day of the JKM pricing month derivative assessment with that of the JKM balance-month next-day derivative assessment.

To maintain clarity, in the last five assessment days for physical deliveries in the pricing month, Platts will also not publish any floating physical bids or offers linked to the pricing month during the APAC physical LNG MOC process.
