Platts to discontinue three US phosphate fertilizer assessments

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue three US phosphate price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.

This decision is due to changes in US domestic phosphate market dynamics and trade flows.

Platts originally proposed the discontinuation of these weekly price assessments for the US phosphate market in a subscriber note published March 21, available here.
