Platts to discontinue five US urea price assessments July 1

Platts, part of S&P Global Commodity Insights, will discontinue five US urea price assessments, effective July 1, 2025.

This decision follows a review of the US fertilizer market, trade flows and their relevance to the international urea market:

These discontinuations were previously outlined in a proposal note (opens in a new tab)published on March 21.

The last publication date for these assessments will be June 26, 2025.

These assessments are currently published in the US Fertilizer Report and on Platts Connect.
